Student Corps joined many organizations to help with BBBSA Run/Walk for kids sake on October 21, 2017.

On September 3rd, 2017, members of the Pleasant Valley Chapter helped volunteer at the Camarillo Ranch House for the Chili Cookoff. A few weeks later, on September 30th, they helped volunteer at the VCCAA Moon Festival at Rancho Rosal Elementary School. Well done Pleasant Valley Chapter!

Student Corps joined 7th Annual Teen Volunteer Fair with Stevens Creek Lexus on September 16th along with more than 30 other non-profit organizations. The fair associated local students with non-profit organizations providing various volunteer opportunities. Thousands of students from local high schools all over bay area joined the fair and stopped by our booth and dozens of them expressed their interest for either joining or starting a local chapter for Student Corps! On Saturday, September 9th, 2017, a Boston chapter of Student Corps ran a booth at the Asian American Day festival at Boston Common. The group of 40+ students raised money for the A Life A Time organization, which provides medical aid for children with third-degree burns. Through rain and shine, the group kept smiles on their faces throughout the whole day. Great job, students!

The Camarillo Chili Cook-Off took place on September 3, 2017 at Camarillo, CA! A group of Student Corps Volunteers volunteered from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, with the blistering 99 degree weather! Thanks to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County for providing us an opportunity to volunteer at this popular event. Enjoy the slideshow, and we hope to see you next year!
