On April 13th, the Wayland High Chapter assisted in cleaning up their town. A while later, the Wellesley Stars Chapter helped Cronk’s Rocky Woodland Small put up flags for the season. Lastly, the Newton North Chapter worked with Cradles to Crayons, helping them to organize their warehouse. A huge thank you to all participating students!
Wellesley Stars & Brimmer and May Chapters held concerts in nursing homes on May 18th, June 6th, and June 8th. Thank you to all the students who worked to prepare themselves for these events and put a smile on someone’s face!
On December 15th, members of Lexington High Chapter and LexiBright Chapter held a food drive. Over 20 students showed up and raised much more than previous years. All food will be donated to the Lexington Food Pantry. Awesome work students!
On Saturday, September 9th, 2018, a Boston group of 40+ Student Corps members ran a booth at the Asian American Day festival at Boston Common. All money raised will be donated to the A Life A Time organization, which provides medical aid for children with third-degree burns. Awesome work, students!
On 6/18/2018 and 8/16/2018 two groups of Student Corps members raised money, one for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County, and the other for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area. Both groups of students are based in California. Thank you for all the hard work students!
