In collaboration with the Sunshine for All Foundation, the Minuteman Chapter of Student Corps held a multi-day event supporting the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) of Springfield, Massachusetts.
18 volunteers from various ages and towns came to Lexington to fundraise the evening of Fridays, August 5th and 11th.
On Saturday, August 6th—six of our young volunteers and three parents accompanied by a Sunshine for All Foundation member made the trip west to the Springfield RMH to deliver a new carpet cleaner as well as prepare a Meal from the Heart to share with the ten families at the House now.
All our volunteers were so glad to have been able to brighten the days of others with a seemingly simple Meal from the Heart, and we look forward to another visit on 8/27.
